Your Home and Feng Shui

A new house holds the promise of a new, fresh opportunities, success and wealth. Moving into a new residence is perhaps the most important event of our lives. Therefore a careful consideration is called for before purchasing a residential unit. For one, ensure that the house follows the principles of Feng Shui and luck will always be on your side.

A New Delhi house should not have a history. If you are looking at a pre-owned house, a second sale, then buy it form someone who may have got a promotion, who had always been successful and happy. There should not have been an ill occupant in the house for a long time.

The main door should ideally face east, west. A southwest entrance can also be considered, but with some changes. Make sure that the house or the building is not near a cemetery or a graveyard. The house should receive good sunlight. Otherwise, if you still like the house, see if the windows can be easily opened. If that is also not possible, think again before going in for the house.

If there is a sharp angular object pointing in the direction of the house, it will create “shar-chi”, that is, the flow of negative energy. “Shar-chi” brings ill health and bad luck to the occupants of the house. Tick off such a house.

Also check the back door of the house. The doors of the house play an important role. If the ent4rane and the rear of the house lie along the same axis, it will bring bad luck. Avoid such a property.

Do not buy a building located in the centre of a roundabout or at the head of a T-junction.

Having finally found your dream home, ensure it is thoroughly cleansed before you move in. Remove all old curtains or furnishings of previous occupants. And choose a bright and sunny day to shift.
